ToggleThe Tesla Semi
The Tesla Semi features a 1000kWh battery pack. This incredible battery feature guarantees users 500 miles of range after every full charge. It houses a supercharger feature that enables it to charge from zero to 70% within an hour. Interestingly, by adding 30 more minutes, the battery would reach the 100% mark.
Tesla Semi is equipped with a modified Model S plaid tri-motor train. This superb motor is about three times the power of the average diesel semi. The front motor of the Model S drives the rear axle of the Tesla Semi. Hence, qualifying it to be called the highway drive unit of the truck.
On the other hand, the Plaid’s dual rear motors are situated at the rear of the Semi’s middle axle. A Rivian-like clutch is situated in these motors. This clutch enables them to accelerate and decouple once at speed. Consequently, it improves the efficiency of the Tesla Semi.
In terms of design, the Tesla Semi is an attractive sight to behold. It is fitted with an electric door handle release on both sides of the truck. When the car opens up, the rear opening doors expose a set of bus-like steps to onlookers.
Additionally, the car spots massive side-view mirrors that are accentuated with camera displays on the left and right infotainment screens. The left segment of the screen displays real-time information about the truck. One such information is details about the tire pressure. On the other hand, the right segment is solely an infotainment interface.
The Tesla Cybertruck
The Tesla cybertruck is a rather unusual looking vehicle. Its wild styling is accompanied by an impressive capacity and a fantastic range. Unlike the Tesla Semi, the Tesla Cybertruck has three versions. These versions include a base single motor rear-wheel drive, a dual motor all-wheel drive, and a tri-motor all-wheel drive.
The base model can accelerate from 0 to 60mph within 6.5 seconds. Every full charge of this version affords users a range of 300 miles. On the other hand, the dual motor all-wheel can cover 300 miles after a charge. Additionally, this Tesla cybertruck model can attain 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The tri-motor version of the cybertruck enables you to attain 500mph with every charge. Unlike the other two variants, this version hits 60 mph in less than 3 seconds. Tesla’s goal for the cybertruck is to have an EV that can compete with a sports car. Hence, speed is a major priority.
Despite the weird exterior of the cybertruck, the interior has a sense of class and thoughtful designs. It has a wide and spacious cabin and a massive panoramic sunroof.
Its low dashboard is designed with the minimalist in mind. Hence, it has fewer knobs and buttons which gives it a bare dashboard. On the good side, this wide and spacious dashboard allows for expansive visibility.

The drag race video, which was captured at the Tesla Giga Texas site, featured several other Tesla vehicles as well.
Unlike several other promotional contents, the captured video appeared as if the Tesla Cybertruck and Tesla Semi were racing each other. However, that was not the case. Both vehicles were in a calm drive with a drone hovering over them. It is assumed that the video was for promotional content.
The released video didn’t show which of the vehicles won the race. However, the incredible speed of both vehicles placed viewers on the edge of their seats. For a truck, the motion of the Tesla semi from 0-60 mph in 20 seconds is quite amusing. Not many trucks in the commercial truck market can easily beat that.
In terms of speed, the Tesla cybertruck did great as well. Moving from 0-60mph within 3 seconds is no small feat.
